Puppy Preschool

All puppies need socialization. In our Puppy Preschool classes not only does your puppy get to learn safe ways to meet others and have play dates, but he or she will also learn how to listen to your commands so you are both safe no matter where you are. Start building a good partnership with your new pal.

Obedience

Obedience is more than sitting and staying. Whether we are working on commands related to walking nicely on a leash or going to their bed when the doorbell rings, these classes are full of fun challenges for you and your dog. This is the beginning of a series of classes ending with Advanced Obedience.

Skills Building

One class is never enough. We all need to practice to make sure that the new skills we learn are remembered. Your pup is the same way. Skills-building courses add to what you have already learned while reinforcing those good behaviors we became familiar with in earlier classes

Rally

Looking to start competing, but aren’t sure if the strict structure of AKC Obedience is for you? Give Rally a try. The skills your team learns are equitable to standard Obedience requirements, but the relaxed atmosphere and approach might be perfect for your team.

Agility

Just one of the many dog performance sports, Agility helps you learn to work with your dog at a run, and at a distance. You must have basic off-leash control of your dog. Call us if you are interested in joining our classes – (360) 471-4158. We have limited availability April – October.

Trick Training

Jealous of those people who have dogs that open their fridges, or ride on skateboards? Stop! Join them! Trick training courses teach you the basics of training your dog to perform these types of behaviors using positive reinforcement methods.

CGC & S.T.A.R. Puppy

Get your S.T.A.R Puppy certification after completing your 6-week course, then continue on training to pass the Canine Good Citizen evaluation. Master the 10 skills required for the CGC and you will receive a CGC certificate from the AKC.

Temperament Testing

Temperament testing is important to help determine if the dog’s natural instincts will help or hinder your goals for your new team. Whether a rescue or a new puppy, we can help increase your chances of finding a partner that will share your interests.

Service Dog Selection, Training and Support

Selecting and training service dogs is an investment of years. And it starts with the right puppy selection. Followed by developing a solid set of basic skills and behaviors. Pup Pawsitive can set you and your partner up right for a successful future.
